  • Device diagnostics: We collect data about your e-bike’s performance, battery status, motor output, and system health to provide diagnostic information and alerts.
  • Ride data: Speed, distance, duration, and riding patterns to display trip history and performance summaries.
  • Accessory configuration: Settings and preferences you configure for connected accessories (lights, display, assist levels, etc.).
  • Device information: Your mobile device model, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to:

  • Display real-time riding data and e-bike diagnostics within the app
  • Enable GPS-based features such as route tracking and navigation
  • Allow you to configure and control your e-bike and accessories
  • Detect and alert you to performance issues or maintenance needs
  • Improve app functionality and user experience
  • Provide technical support when requested

📍 Location data is only collected while the app is actively in use and you have granted permission. We do not track your location in the background without your explicit consent.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We may share data only in the following limited cases:

  • With service providers who assist in operating the app (e.g., cloud storage), under strict confidentiality agreements

  • Ride history and GPS data: Retained for up to 24 months from the date of collection, or until you delete your account, whichever comes first.
  • Device diagnostics and configuration: Retained for the duration of your use of the app and deleted within 90 days of account deletion.
  • Device information: Retained for up to 12 months for troubleshooting purposes.

6. Permissions Required

The Lena Bikes App may request the following device permissions:

  • Location (GPS): Required for route tracking and location-based features
  • Bluetooth: Required to connect to your Lena e-bike and accessories
  • Storage: Required to save ride history and app settings on your device

You can manage these permissions at any time through your device’s settings. Disabling certain permissions may limit app functionality.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Lena Bikes App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Opt out of certain data collection
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
